GPS-Aided Attitude & Heading Reference System

 

The new LandMark™50 GPS/AHRS offers Open Loop FOG performance utilizing our own low noise MEMS gyros and accelerometers. This integrated GPS-Aided Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) features 1°/hour in-run bias and excellent bias over temperature. An internal vibration isolation system provides improved performance.

 

The inertial suite provides internally temperature compensated RS485 output of delta velocity, delta theta, heading, pitch and roll angles and altitude information in a ruggedized package.

 

All units are integrated with a 72 channel C/A code GPS receiver with up to 18Hz GPS position update rate. GPS aiding is included in all units for turning error correction as well as continued output during short-term GPS dropouts.

9 Degrees of Freedom MEMS GPS/AHRS

 

The LandMark™ GPS/AHRS provides delta velocity and delta theta information as well as GPS heading, roll and pitch (degrees) and both GPS and barometric altitude (meters) outputs enabling position determination from a known starting point.

 

The GPS receiver is a 72 channel C/A code GPS receiver and offers up to 18Hz GPS position data rate updates. The low power receiver supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, GALILEO and SBAS (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS).
