Gladiator Technologies Announces New LandMark10 MEMS IMU/GPS

IMU/GPS has Synchronized GPS and Inertial Timing and Rechargeable Internal Battery

January 3, 2008 – Gladiator Technologies announced today the production launch of the LandMark10 MEMS IMU/GPS. This unit features combined inertial measurement unit and GPS outputs with synchronized timing and a unique internal rechargeable battery. There are many advanced user features for this low power, light weight MEMS IMU/GPS including:

Designed for commercial applications, the LandMark10 IMU/GPS is ideal for rugged applications requiring low power, small size, low cost combined with synchronized timing of inertial and GPS data.

The MEMS LandMark10 IMU/GPS is in full production and small quantity orders are typically fulfilled off the shelf. The export commodity classification is U.S. Department of Commerce category ECCN7A994. An additional option available is the IMU/GPS DEMO KIT which has all the cabling, display software (including features programming and data recording capabilities) which enables direct IMU/GPS to PC connection from the IMU's RS485 and either the GPS's RS485 or USB to the PC's RS232 or USB interface. Also included is a self-contained battery powered power supply which offers up to 16 hours of use (utilizes 3ea standard 9V batteries), self test switch and display software for the IMU and GPS. Software drivers are also included to ease user integration of the IMU/GPS into their systems.
