Gladiator Technologies Announces All New G100Z Ultra Low Noise and High Bandwidth MEMS Gyro

ARW Noise is Low as 0.125°/√hr - Comparable to Small Ring Laser Gyros and Small Open-Loop FOG's at Much Lower Cost

August 3, 2010 – Gladiator Technologies announced today their newest and lowest noise MEMS gyro, the G100Z. This high performance "LN Series" inertial sensor from Gladiator builds upon the successful heritage of our previous generation MEMS gyros, including the popular G50Z gyro. Like it's predecessors, the all analog gyro offers a combination of low noise with exceptionally high bandwidth as well as superb in-run bias. The unit is nearly form, fit and function interchangeable with the G50Z with the exception of higher power consumption. Designed with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software, the unit is designed for demanding commercial applications and environments and is packaged in a rugged black anodized machined aluminum enclosure including a MILSPEC connector for environmental sealing and EMI resistance.The G100Z Gyro has many advanced performance features including:

Ultra Low Noise and High Bandwidth G100Z Gyro

Gladiator Technologies' all new "LN Series" (Low Noise) inertial technology features a family of low noise gyros, accelerometers and inertial system products that are available in various performance ranges. The "LN Series" ARW gyro noise on the G100Z is offered as low as 0.003°/sec/√Hz (0.125°/√hr) with bandwidth of 500Hz. The G100Z is also offered in all of the systems in the LandMark™30 family of products.
