Sep 15, 2009 – Gladiator Technologies announced today the full production availability of
the all new LandMark™ 20 IMU eXT, which has been in low rate production since spring 2009. The eXT family builds upon the proven performance of the standard LandMark™ 20 product family. The low power eXT unit features low noise gyros and accelerometers with both improved in-run bias and over temperature bias as well as ruggedized environmentally sealed enclosure and a MILSPEC connector all in a small, light weight package. The unit is designed to commercial aerospace standards and meets and exceeds typical stabilization and other commercial aerospace requirements. The LandMark™ 20 IMU eXT is ideal for applications demanding excellent performance coupled with challenging environmental requirements at low cost. In addition to low noise gyros and accelerometers the unit features ultra low power consumption, small size, light weight, long life MTBF and enhanced packaging with improved environmental sealing and EMI protection. The signature feature of the LandMark™ 20 IMU eXT is the low noise gyros and accelerometers, which enable precision measurement and improved in-run and bias over temperature. The IMU's performance is optimized with fully temperature compensated bias and scale factor and compensated misalignment and g-sensitivity. The unit is well suited for the harsh environments of commercial automotive and motorcycle testing, motorsports racing, aircraft and sea applications that require both low cost and high performance as well as rugged durability. Custom ranges are available (consult factory).
Gladiator's production standards utilize lean manufacturing and six sigma techniques and employ fully automated temperature testing and calibration equipment throughout production. Gladiator's quality system is certified to ISO9001/AS9100.

The LandMark™ 20 IMU eXT is in full production and small quantity orders are typically fulfilled off the shelf. The export
commodity classification is classified by the U.S. Department of Commerce as ECCN7A994. The unit comes with a metal backshell mating connector.
