Gladiator Technologies Achieves AS9100 Rev. B and ISO9001:2000 Quality Management Systems Certification

QMS Approval Expands Systems, Processes and Quality Infrastructure for Continued Growth

JULY 24, 2008 − Gladiator Technologies' Quality Management System (QMS) has been certified to AS9100 Rev. B and ISO9001:2000 by their Registrar BSI. The extensive initial audit took place at GTI's Snoqualmie, WA facility and culminated in successfully receiving certification in June. The QMS certification distinguishes Gladiator Technologies as a quality organization compliant with global aerospace quality standards and the needs of customers and regulatory agencies.

The assessment audit was conducted by third party registrar, BSI Management Systems, in accordance with the requirements of AS9104 Rev A for "Design and Manufacture of inertial sensors, systems and integrated GPS". The assessment extensively covered the total facility for all elements of the Aerospace 9100 Rev B standard. The BSI Lead Auditor commended Gladiator Technologies for Top Management’s commitment to Quality as well as the comprehensive ERP system. Gladiator Technologies Quality Manager, Mike Abbott, who is a Honeywell Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, was impressed by the depth of the audit and delighted that the final assessment score for GTI was 980 out of 1000.
